Event style 1 - Static Display
Nothing pulls a crowd like a Monster Truck! Even when standing still…

Event style 2 - Action Arena
This is the preferred style for those who don't want the full on Monster Truck Jumping show, but need more that a static display. Includes power runs and doughnuts, some grass damage will occur.

Event style 3 - Car Crush High Action Display
Car jumping/crushing. 1700 hp is used to throw nearly 5000kg into the air, spectacular just isn't a big enough word to describe this spectacle.

Arena Requirements:

Category 1 - An area of 8 metres x 6 metres

Category 2 - An area of 50 metres x 33 metres (Minimum)

Category 3 - An area of 80 metres x 60 metres (Minimum)

The above is just a brief summary of what we can offer. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.

Preparing the cars:

Quantity: We prefer 4 to 6 cars. However, the exhibition can be executed on just 2 cars. Always try to get full size cars, eg, Mondeo. Midsize (eg, Escort) are acceptable but mini/supermini (eg Fiesta) are not desirable.

Condition of cars: Cars can be damaged on the sides, but should not be so seriously damaged in the front or rear that they don't have a boot lid or bonnet. If the engine has been removed, the engine compartment should be filled with scrap tyres or a few bales of hay. If you need protect your arena sheets of ¾" plywood or a stout tarpaulin or old carpet should be placed under the cars.

Things to remove: The battery must be removed. The fuel tank must be drained, we recommend removing the entire tank. We recommend that the radiator also be drained to avoid spillage on your arena. We also recommend removing the glass or breaking it into the car prior to the performance. Tyres should be deflated on site.

Performance area:

Space requirements: We request a 100m x 80m perimeter (Minimum of 80m x 60m for safety). The MTRAE recommends that its members not work in arenas that are just roped off or use caution tape for crowd control. Safety is of paramount importance to the MTRAE and with the size and weight of monster trucks double row, steel crowd control barriers should be used. We would request that you have enough employees or security people (at least 4) on hand to insure that your spectators stay a safe distance away from the vehicles. The MTRAE recommends having a monster truck "paddock" at one end of the arena to jump the trucks towards.
